What a fun Holiday weekend!!! Tasia finally came home for good on Friday... Grandma and Grandpa Nelson brought her home and stayed through Saturday. Here is all the pictures that captured all the fun we had this weekend!

So I talk and talk about my beautiful daughter Tasia, But as most of you know when I was 18 I placed a child for adoption. I think she is just as beautiful as tasia and I wanted to share with all of you just how stunning she really is! Her name is Afton and she is almost 5 years old! Here is a few pictures of her wonderful life!

So Matt and I have been working really hard to get both of our kids rooms ready for them when they get home/here! Their grandma Nelson made them some great additions and we were able to put them up and things are really starting to come together! Yesterday Matt spent the day painting both rooms and last night we were able to get the wall stickers up! I am so excited! Tasia has really never had a full on put together room! And now all of her stuff matches! The only thing missing from her room is her rocking chair.. which will be featured in another blog because Matt has been doing a great job stripping the paint on it and refinishing the beautiful wood on it! Still little odds and ends... but for the most part their rooms are done!

I promise I did not name my boy Skyle.... I am waiting for Walmart to get in an "R" to finish the name! LOL But maybe a cute nick name??!! Hahah Ya right! My husband will veto that real quick!

Grandma Nelson made these beautiful curtains for Skyler's room! They brought the whole room together! They look so great!

The rocking chair in this room is actually Matt's baby rocking chair! I think it was really neat for both sides of parents to give us our baby rocking chairs that we can use with our kids!

I was not really wanting to post these pictures because she is SOOO in love with her daddy... and it takes away from my previous post of her and I! LOL And in the post of her and I she looked soo much like me but now... she is the spittin image of her daddy! It is such a neat thing to see their relationship! It makes my heart sing to see the two of them together! Tasia is such a daddy's girl! And that makes me so happy!

Tasias First Day Home

We had so much fun while Tasia was home... This is a little picture diary of what she did on her first day home!

My beautiful Angel! We started out the day at Park Discovery!

Then we relaxed a bit with a little play dough Kitchen!

I was actually taking a picture of her concentrating so hard on her play dough and ended up getting this gorgeous picture!

Then we did some outside playing until daddy got home!

Tasia was so funny... Our neighbors across the street were playing on their skateboards and she wanted to join in! So she started using her bike as a skateboard and then she got sick of that so she started racing them!

We played soo hard there was not even time for a nap... as you can plainly see she is sooooo ready for bed! That under her eye is dirt that she had on her face and then she was crying because she was soo tired! Needless to say... she slept like a baby that night! But it was totally worth it! We had so much fun together!

She was having a hard time keeping her eyes open here and even worse she was having a hard time smiling! She was so cute tho... she kept saying "Mommy... are we done taking pictures? I am so tired!" So I let her be done and put my tired baby to bed!

As most of you know I am currently on bed rest due to this very complicated pregnancy I am in the middle of... So my wonderful family has stepped in to help me with Tasia. Being that my closest family member lives 3 hours away... I don't get to see my baby very often! So when she does get a chance to come down for a visit I am OVERJOYED!!!! I was able to have her Last week and weekend. We went up to Fillmore... (Which is the halfway point between my moms house and mine.) On Wednesday and I had her all day Thursday All day Friday and through the weekend! What a treat! She has been such an angel through this! She doesn't complain and she just packs up her stuff and goes where she needs to go! When she got here I could see sooo many changes in her that I didn't remember before she left! I guess kids do that! She started developing freckles... soo cute.. And in my opinion she is really starting to look a lot like me! So we had a girls day on Thursday and took lots of goofy pictures of just the two of us! Here they are:

Ok so I really need to cetch up on this blogging thing! I will start here and hopfully get close to the present! So a couple of months ago Tasia was due for a teeth cleaning. I was a little nervous about it since I can't stand the dentist... but she has to do it! So we went and I was soo impressed by her it was amazing! She sat there as still as can be and just did whatever the dental hygenist told her to do! The dental Hygenist was even able to get all of her xrays with only one minor bite to the finger! Ok not minor... it drew blood! But small price to pay!!! LOL

Our Big News

Well... the news has finally come... we are having a boy. I am starting to feel him move ALOT!!! He is a very active boy. We decided to name him Skyler Matthew Nelson. Here are some of my pregnancy pictures and a picture of our beautiful baby!

So, about 2 weeks ago Tasia went to her grandmas house in California. When she came back... she was so much bigger and somehow her hair got longer! I had to take pictures of her because of course she is just so dang cute!!!!

We went to Matt's parents house for 4th of July in Fallon, Nevada. While we were there they let Tasia ride a neighbors horse. I was a little worried at first when she went to touch him, he moved his head and she had a COME APART!!!! So, i thought when she got on him and he started to move she would dot the same. It turned out to be the total opposite! She was a pro!

It is official... My little girl is on the road to being potty trained... I have a really good friend who has a little boy 2 weeks older than Tasia, so whenever I see a blog about all of the great things that he does it inspires me to try with Tasia! Thanks Rachel!!! Your really my hero!!! So last week I saw a post on Rachel's blog that her little boy is now potty trained! I had to start trying..... AGAIN!!! So last Thursday we threw away all of her diapers and put on panties.... then we decided to go camping on Friday.... BAD idea.... she was having way too much fun and forgot about telling mommy when she needed to go. So we diapered her up and waited until we got back home. She has been so good since. She even wears panties for nap and bed! I am so proud of her! Again... Thanks Rachel!!!!

She needed to show everyone her cute panties! And I promise I feed her! She is sucking her belly in for some reason! Little nerd!!!
This is her Potty chart! She has done so well with it and every time she goes she gets to pick out her own sticker to put on the chart... She cant wait every time... she sometimes just sits on the potty to see if she can go so she can get a sticker!

A Tribute to my Mama!

Wow... What an amazing woman. I wanted to take a minute and tell the world what a wonderful mom I have. I know that is what everyone says about their mothers, and I am probably Bias... But I don't care. She is the strongest person I have ever met. I strive everyday to be HALF the mom she was for me. I look up to her so much. My mother has fallen down so many times and every time she has the strength to get herself back up and become stronger than before! I adore her strength... but more than that, I adore the love she gives each of her kids and her husband. I have never in my 22 years of life felt like I was getting "jipped" outta anything. She always not only made sure we had all of the physical and material things that we needed but also the emotional support that we needed to continue the lives that we needed to lead. I have had some very difficult decisions that I needed to make in my life.... and if it weren't for her strength and support, there is no way I could get through the times I did. Thank you mom for showing the exact person I want to become. I hope to make you proud... I love you with all of my heart! You are a beautiful person inside and out!!!!

Well, I have been very self conscious about pictures since I had Tasia and I DO NOT like getting mine taken, you know... since the extra weight has been undeniably put on... but, I was trying to but a couple new photos up around the house and I had absolutely NO pictures of Tasia and I. So, I gave Matt very strict instructions to only capture my neck and up and he didn't do half bad... so here they are... pictures of Tasia and I!

A Wonderful Sunday!!!

We had such a wonderful weekend! Sunday was the day I documented. We finally were able to enjoy the sun! It was so nice outside that we couldn't stay in! So to start out the day we took the 22's and went shooting. Tasia has shot the riffle before but never the pistol. She had a blast. We also went to the park, and then we went to get ice cream. Here are all the fun pictures!

OK, well, I have had some serious hair issues this past week. I needed to post to make myself feel better. On Saturday I took all of my extensions on the sides out and my mom came down and put them back in for me. by Sunday night... they all fell out again. I had some bad glue!! So I decided to just take them out and not worry about stupid extensions again! Well, the sides of my hair had not been colored since I took out my long extensions. So my mom was passing through on Saturday back from her trip to California and she stopped by to color my hair. This is the results. I think I will be able to live with how short it is... But I really love the color.... Thanks Mommy!!!!

So, I have gotten email after email of my friends childrens school pictures and I said to myself.... Now it is going to be YEARS before I get school pictures of Tasia to send out, You know trying to make myself feel better because it really is not going to be that long! So I decided to dress her up nice and pretty and take some pictures of my princess myself! Well thanks to my BEST FRIEND Picasa I was able to put together some Beautiful pictures! And also thanks to the bribery of chapstic... she loves putting that on so between each picture she said "wait a second mom... I gotta do my lips!" It was so funny! Anyway.... Easter Weekend!

What an Easter weekend we had!!! It was a beautiful day on Thursday. So we took our newest members of our family out to the park to get some fresh air. Then the Veaters invited us to an Easter egg hunt at there house and then dinner! We had a blast there. Tasia made out like a bandit with eggs filled with candy and MONEY!!!! O ya someone put money in some of the Easter eggs and she got quite a few of those. On Sunday Brandy and Lee invited us to their house for yet another Easter egg hunt and dinner. Again Tasia scored and came home with a ton of candy!!!

Tasia's Hair Cut!!!

Well, It has been a while since my last post so I will talk about the recent Tasia fiasco. Well as you know I did a post about how I am having a hard time figuring out what to do with Tasia's hair. I guess she heard me because about a week ago my precious daughter gave herself a hair cut!!!!! I was doing my hair in the bathroom upstairs and I had my scissors out on the counter because I was putting more extensions in my hair. I went to get the scissors to cut a piece and loan behold.... they are gone.... I ran as fast as my fat butt could down the stairs and found my beautiful daughter with the lost pair of scissors in one hand and a chunk of hair in the other hand... she was telling me "Its pretty mommy!!!" I lost it!!! I had already had enough trouble figuring out what to do with her hair and now i had a whole now challenge!!!! Well I called my mom hysterical and told her the story, she was nice enough to take Tasia for a few days and give me a little break so I wouldn't have another come apart. This is what she looked like when she left! Even though I am a hairdresser I didn't want to touch her hair because I was such a wreck I was afraid I would mess it up... so I left it as is!!!

My poor baby had no idea what she did wrong! Mommy does it all the time and it always looks good... she was just trying to do it too!!!! We both had been crying for a long time that day!!!
When Tasia got home from her vacation at grandma and grandpa Norsworthy's I had calmed down enough to try to do something with her hair.... It actually turned out really cute!!! Amazing what a little patients can do!!!

We are both happy again and I think that she is beautiful no matter what she does to her hair!!! If anything it has made me not be so lazy and actually to her hair everyday!!!

We have had Quite an eventful weekend... Daddy deciede that Tasia needed her first fishing lesson on saturday... Santa brought her a fishing pole for christmas and she has been dying to use it. There is this little pond in St. George for kids to fish in for free and it was a blast... Tasia was unsure of the fish as you can tell she was a little freaked out!!! But we had a blast anyway! Tasias first fish... she freaked!!!

Ok so I have been having a serious problem with Tasias hair lately... All I have been able to do was piggie tails and put bows on it... which has been really cute but I am so tierd of it I needed something new... She seems to know exactly how to take the pony tails out the second I put them in!!! She doesnt have alot of hair.... I take that back... Her hair is really thick it is just not long which can only go so far. So I got a wild hair yesterday and decided to see what else I could do... wow... It accually turned out so dang cute... I loved it so much I needed to blog about it!!! I know no life right!!?? This is the top

Well... It is offical... My little baby girl is no longer a baby... I had to go and buy her a booster seat today!!! She is so excited to sit in it now!!! This is so hard for me... the poor cashier was probally thinking that I am a nut because I had tears in my eyes when I was paying for it!!! Not because of the price but because of my baby!!! I want her to stop growing!!!

A Weekend Without Daddy!!

Wow what a weekend... Matt decided that he was going to go Hunting with one of his friends this weekend so Tasia and I got to spend the weekend just the 2 of us. On Friday I had to work and normally Tasia comes with me but I went over to my friend Tawnyas house and Tasia was having so much fun with her 2 girls Brodie and Ryann that Tawnya offered to keep her there while I went to work! Work by myself for 4 hours?!?! I was in heaven! Then on saturday I had to work all day so another one of my friends offered to take Tasia so she was not cooped up in the store all day! Amy has a little girl close to Tasias age. Her name is Bree. So Tasia and Bree got to play while I was at work.... Then Matt surprised me and came home earlier than I thought so he got to spend the rest of the day with Tasia... we had a great family night. Then on sunday we found out that we got our tax return back!!! Yeah!!!! So we took a trip down to St. George and went to Costco and stalked up on food... so ya... we had a pretty good weekend... now I hope the week is as god!!! See you all next week!!!

So... I had the oppurtunity to go to the Hinder concert this last weekend. I was surprised by my loving husband. I had no idea that he had even got the tickets and all of a sudden I am standing in an arena with my favortie band in the world!!!! We had a blast. Matt was able to get a babysitter for Tasia for the night so we had the whole night for just the 2 of us... WOW that never happens!!! We had a nice dinner at Golden Corral with the Veaters and then we went to their friends house before heading to the concert. We were able to see The Veer Union... a new band. Then we saw Theroy Of A Dead Man... wow they rocked!!! I have their CD that sandy gave me but never really listened to it until now... And last but not least... HINDER... O my gosh, they were so good. I was dancing and screaming the whole time... I had do much fun it was unbelievable... I am so happy that I was able to go... I really do have the best husband EVER!!!!
